Few things about Greece

Greece, the Hellenic Republic which s known as Hellas, is a magnificent country located in Southern and Southeast Europe. The population have reached almost 11 million. The capital of Greece is Athens, which is also the largest city and then followed by Thessaloniki

This country has 6.000 islands in total, those island are scattered in Aegean and Ionian Seas. However only 227 are inhabited. The Greece islands are the most breath taking islands you will ever see.

Beaches you need to see 

One of my favourite thing about Greece are the beaches. All Greece beaches have their own beauty and charm. Moreover, some of them are considered as the most beautiful in the world. Some islands with the best beaches are : Crete, Paros, Naxos, Ios, Milos, Mykonos and Rhodes. Here you can see what is the best and more suitable island for you.

Greek food 

Greece is well known for the traditional greek food. Some of the most famous greek food are not only, feta cheese and salads or even greek yoghourt, but moussaka, souvlaki, dolmades, melomakarona, spanakopita and my most favourite is the greek gyro. I have never tasted something so amazing in my entire life. If you ask anyone for greek food, everyone will answer back with one answer, you MUST try!!!!!!!

what it really means Philoxenia

Greek people are one of the most friendly people in the world. They would be nice to anyone and give their help to others.  The greek word Philoxenia  is translated as "friend to a stranger" which is synonymous to hospitality. However, for greek is way much deeper than just that. It is an unspoken cultural law that shows generosity and courtesy to strangers. 

Greek are enormous generous when inviting others to their home, or being invited themselves. In villages, it is not uncommon for villagers to show up at the door of resident foreigner with a sack full of fresh tomatoes, or even a bottle of local olive oil.

what greeks gave us 

Why you need to visit Greece? Well, think of it Greece gave us arts, sports, medicine,
law, language, science, mathematics, philosophy, buildings and even some inventions, all the above that are mentioned have been influenced by Ancient Greeks.

Greece is for everyone 

Greece is perfect for all type of people, young or old, well something that I can promise you is that if you ever go to Greece, you will feel young again. Trust me !!
